Cheryl Burke isn’t holding back. The Dancing with the Stars pro shared her honest opinion about the rumors circulating that her fellow dancer Gleb Savchenko had an affair with his partner, Chrishell Stause, which lead to his divorce from his wife of 14 years, Elena Samodanova.
The rumors started last week following Gleb and Chrishell’s elimination from the show. Just days later, Gleb announced his split from Elena, sparking speculation that he may have been in a romantic relationship with Chrishell, who has recently split from her husband, This Is Us actor, Justin Hartley. However, Cheryl’s not buying it.
Cheryl urges fans not to believe the rumors
Cheryl and her partner, AJ McClean, appeared for an interview on the Pretty Messed Up podcast this week following their own elimination from DWTS. During the sit-down, Cheryl revealed that she doesn’t believe the gossip.
“Okay guys, so I think we have to hash it out and talk about the elephant in the room. Just cause they dry hump on TV guys, doesn’t mean it’s real. This is the whole thing, right? When you’re in this world of Hollywood, you do reality shows and this stuff does happen,” she revealed.
“Right now it’s just a big deal because Gleb and his wife are separating. I’ve known them for a while — they’re both in the competitive dance world scene. I’ve known his wife as well and their beautiful kids and I send my love to Gleb and his family. This can’t be easy for anybody right now, especially when you have kids involved,” Cheryl added.
Gleb Savchenko’s wife, Elena Samodanova, claims he cheated
On Saturday, Elena spoke out about the end of her marriage, accusing Gleb of being unfaithful during their relationship.
“Gleb’s ongoing infidelity and a recent inappropriate relationship has created turmoil in our marriage and absolutely torn our family apart,” she told People.
Gleb later responded to the accusations, denying that his relationship with Chrishell was anything more than friendship.

“While I will continue to respect the privacy of my family, I will not stand by and allow false accusations and internet rumors go unaddressed. My relationship with Chrishell was and remains strictly platonic. Our friendship during our season on DWTS was not the reason for our split,” Gleb told the publication.
Chrishell has also denied the rumors.
“I am so saddened about the news of Gleb and Elena’s split. It is unfortunate that this has caused rumors to swirl about my personal life. Having gone through a public split myself, I would not wish this on anyone,” she added via social media.
Dancing with the Stars will continue to air Monday nights at 8 p.m. on ABC without Cheryl Burke, Gleb Savchenko, and their partners.
