“’The team is steadily progressing with the production and the game is nearing the finish line,’ Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka explained in the statement. ‘The game is complete and we are currently playtesting it. It is by far the biggest and most ambitious project we’ve ever done. Unfortunately, we’ve realized for us to bring the game to the level we envision, we need more time to polish and optimize it.'” reports We Got This Covered.

The statement goes on to say that the game will not be ready until February 4th of 2022 but the community can expect some exciting news at the end of this month. It is rumored that the press and content creators will get a chance to preview current builds in October of this year.

2022 will be a big year for gaming with ‘Dying Light 2’ and other titles

Dying Light 2 will also have a two to four-player cooperative mode and on its new set release date the game will be playable on PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

It will be very interesting to see what news the developers were talking about that comes out at the end of the month. But fans will be forced to wait and hope that the game’s delay is well worth it so that they can make the best game they possibly can.
