Also starring in the upcoming film will be legendary acting icon Tom Hanks who will be portraying Colonel Tom Parker. The film will tell the story of the King of Rock and Roll’s rise to fame.

The film will touch on facts of Elvis’ career from an aspiring singer to a worldwide superstar involving his very complicated relationship with his manager Colonel Tom Parker.

The yet to be titled film will also include a look into the very private and personal life of Elvis his marriage and divorce to Priscilla, and his relationship with his only child, daughter Lisa Marie Presley.

Since his death in 1977 at the age of 42 many Elvis fans have often criticized Priscilla Presley and the way she has handled Elvis’ estate claiming she has spent her life profiting off of the Presley name.

As previously reported by Hollywood News Daily, Elvis left his empire to his only child Lisa Marie. In 2019 it was revealed that Priscilla’s net worth was considerably a million times wealthier than that of Lisa’s by about $100 million according to Wealtholino.

Lisa Marie Presley has made celebrity news headlines for the past couple of years due to her divorce from fourth husband Michael Lockwood. The two have also engaged in a bitter and nasty custody case of the former couple’s twin daughters Harper and Finely.

Lisa is also currently involved in a lawsuit with her ex-business manager after revealing she was broke due to his poor business practices. It is not yet known at this time as to just how detailed the Elvis biopic will get when it comes to Priscilla Presley and Lisa Marie.

Despite having passed more than four decades ago to date all news on Elvis, Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley continue to remain in high demand thanks to millions of Presley fans world-wild.

The movie begins shooting early next year in Queensland, Australia, and a release date will be determined at a later date.
