Elvis Presley’s ex-girlfriend Linda Thompson returned to Graceland recently to take a nostalgic walk down memory lane. The Express co.uk reports the 71-year-old took to Instagram to share her favorite memories and photos with fans.
Linda Thompson spent four years with the late King of Rock and Roll from 1972-1976. It has been close to 50-years since Thompson shared the Graceland mansion with Presley.

“I took a walk down memory lane today at my former home, where I lived for 4 1/2 years – Graceland in Memphis.
“I also revisited the airplanes that I flew on to countless concerts all around the country with the greatest entertainer who ever lived, Elvis Presley Thompson writes on her Instagram.
“It’s surreal to remember decorating with him the legendary jungle room, stained glass peacocks in the living/music room, the fabric-covered pool room, TV room & other areas – as well as the Lisa Marie airplane.”
“I will always be grateful for the rarified honor of having been so close on such a deeply personal level to such a true icon – and for having been loved by him.”
Elvis Presley And Linda Thompson Remained Lifelong Friends
Thompson and Elvis split on friendly terms after Thompson confessed to Presley the need for a more ‘normal life.’ However, the pair remained close friends until Elvis’ death in 1977.
Following her relationship with Elvis, Linda married Olympic decathlon champion Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce Jenner, and Music producer David Foster.
Linda Thompson’s return to Graceland comes as the 44th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death nears on August 16. Every year Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, and Elvis fans honor the memory of Elvis with a full week of festivities.
