Rapper Eminem is reportedly very paranoid that his privacy could be invaded while he is out on the road. According to new reports from Radar Online the “Real Slim Shady” hit maker makes sure that every hotel he stays at lines the singer’s windows with heavy tin foil to reflect radio waves used in listening devices.
Most entertainers have somewhat odd idiosyncrasies that they tend to adapt over the years. The rapper has been known to travel with large rolls of aluminum foil so he could have blacked out windows that would help him sleep, but Radar can reveal the Slim Shady star also uses the foil as it absorbs and reflects radio waves used in listening devices!
Eminem is currently holed up at the five-star Penny Hill Park hotel in the village of Bagshot, south-east England while he stages shows in London.
Sources close to Eminem claim that he has requested extra tinfoil for his room, which totally baffled staff who had no idea he liked to use it to cover his windows.
“But he doesn’t only like to use it to black out his windows as he still suffers from insomnia – he also believes it deters anyone from using listening devices outside his suite.”
Eminem is reportedly an “extremely private” person, and while there is really not much going on in his hotel suite as he prefers to use his free time between shows relaxing by reading comics, eating takeaway food and playing computer games.
“It’s weird Eminem thinks he needs to shut out prying eyes and ears as he’s just like a big kid in his hotel room.” There has also been tell that some of Em’s other bizarre hotel demands included the installation of ponds filled with koi carp fish worth a small fortune to help him relax.
Eminem is not the only big name celebrity to bring a little strange and bizarre from home with him when he travels. Other odd celebrity habits include the late Steve Jobs.
