‘Empire’ Season 3 is finally back.
“Empire” is finally back on Fox. The Season 3 mid-season premiere debuts tonight, and fans have missed the Lyon family on their television screens. While the mid-season finale ended with some big drama, the premiere will be even bigger as Cookie and Lucious fight for their empire.
According to Mic, Cookie and Lucious will struggle to find Jamal, who has left rehab and is missing. The two parents will confront Jamal’s producer, Derek, about giving him drugs, before finding out that he’s been seen in a shady area. The two will scramble to find him before he makes a deadly mistake.
This week’s episode promises big drama.
Meanwhile, “Empire” fans will see Cookie and Lucious battle each other as well. Lucious will announce a new project, and Cookie will vow to take him down. Andre will continue to work out a plan to take over Empire, and Hakeem and Tianna will battle with Nessa. The official synopsis reads,
“After launching a deadly missile at Angelo, Lucious announces his new music project, Inferno, and puts everyone on notice — especially Cookie, who then vows to knock him off his throne for good. Meanwhile, Jamal befriends musician Tory Ash during his stay in rehab; Andre continues with his plan to take over Empire; and Hakeem and Tiana battle Nessa for a spot in the music showcase.”
