According to a recent Reddit post, Teegan Nichols has seemingly announced her engagement to none other than Ethan Plath. A couple of days ago, on the r/Welcome to Plathville, one user dropped a post shared by Teegan asking for help.
On the Johnny Lightning Buying/Selling/ Trading page, Teegan placed an ad seeking help finding a model car for her fiancé’s (Ethan’s) upcoming May birthday. So, it looks as if there may have been a life-changing event that has recently taken place between Teegan and Ethan Plath.
So far, there are no official announcements on the rumored engagement. However, if Teegan is putting it out there, there is likely some truth to it. Thanks to the eagle-eyed Redditor TLC and Plathville fans are looking for any and all information on this potential alleged engagement.
Ethan Plath Ready To Become A Husband/Stepdad?

He has yet to reveal any public details about her. However, per Starcasm, Teegan is from Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She is a 24-year-old graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh in 2022 with a degree in finance. She is also the mother of a daughter who will turn four in June. There doesn’t appear to be any information about the child’s father or their past relationship.
Teegan and Ethan are staying pretty tight-lipped on the details of their romance. It is unclear whether that is their choice or a contractual obligation to TLC. Welcome to Plathville fans have so many questions, and hope to learn all the juicy details in the upcoming season.
Overlooking One Problem?
However, Plathville fans are chomping at the bit to find out if Ethan Plath and Teegan Nichols will pull a Lydia Plath and marry quickly and quietly, or if Ethan’s second wedding will play out on the family reality series.
That might be hard to pull off since for one huge reason. According to the Reddit super sleuths, Olivia Plath and Ethan Plath are allegedly still married. They claim, according to court records, it was administratively closed. “Omg!!! And it kills me because all this juicy sh*T we actually want to see won’t ever air in the show! Just like Kim’s DUI!,” one fan writes.
If Ethan and Olivia are still legally married, it likely won’t be for much longer. This new engagement will probably send Ethan to the courthouse to get the ball officially rolling.
Ethan Plath’s alleged engagement news comes just weeks after his sister, Lydia Plath, went public with her new boyfriend, Zac Wyse. Lydia and Zac tied the knot in February.
