Rumors have been flying around as of late about Fast and Furious star Sung Kang who plays the fan-favorite character named Han may be cast as an Inquisitor in the Obi-wan Kenobi television series.

With the return of Ewan McGregor as Obi-wan and Hayden Christensen as Anakin and Darth Vader, there will be plenty of interesting characters coming into the very highly anticipated show.

According to We Got This Covered, “As per the report, Kang is said to be playing The Fifth Brother, who made his debut in the animated realm, something the live-action shows are happy to use for inspiration. In broad strokes, the Inquisitors are corrupted Jedi apprentices who hunt down and execute the remaining members in the aftermath of Order 66.”

The Fifth Brother is said to report directly to Darth Vader so there is a good chance when we see Kang we will also be seeing Hayden in his black armor and mask. All Inquisitors are under the Grand Inquisitor who was also first seen in the animated show Star Wars Rebels. It is not clear if the Grand Inquisitor will be seen at all in Kenobi but as fans, we can only hope to see the former Jedi Temple guard in live-action.

The Obi-wan Kenobi series is set before the events of Star Wars Rebels so it would make sense if the Grand Inquisitor were to make an appearance as he would still be alive. But for now, we have the Fifth Brother as Sung Kang has reportedly expressed that he is very excited to be working with McGregor and the rest of the cast and is very excited to be part of the Star Wars universe.
