A rare Friday the 13th event is about to occur according to the Us National Weather Channel. Tomorrow night is not only Friday the 13th but also a full harvest moon.

Now, this rare Friday the 13th event may or may not mean anything to you, but, to some people Friday the 13th is an extremely spooky and scary day. Many people across the globe are very superstitious and Friday the 13th brings them a lot of anxiety. However, add in the upcoming full moon and for those, it can be chaos.

So what is so special about this months Friday the 13th and full moon? The spooky combo is reportedly a pretty rare occasion. It hasn’t happened since Oct. 13, 2000, and won’t happen again until Aug. 13, 2049.

Many superstitions surround the number 13 and particularly Friday the 13th. For example, did you know that there are people who are terrified of the number 13. These people suffer from a condition which is known as Triskaidekaphobia (also being referred to as 13-digit phobia) is the irrational fear of the number 13.

When Friday lands on the 13th many believe the day will bring nothing but bad luck. Many think that the reason for the number 13’s bad luck comes from the Bible. Judas, who betrayed Jesus, is thought to have been the 13th guest to sit down to the Last Supper.

All in all this list of superstitions is exactly just that, a list of what some believe should never be tested, especially on this day, but, all in all, it is just harmless folklore.
