According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new “Friday The 13th” series is in early development, and will be the CW’s second shot at a horror series, as the network previously shot a pilot based on the horror series “Tales From The Darkside,” which was not picked up.

The show is an adaptation of the film by the same named which starred Jim Caviezel and Dennis Quaid, in which the father and son duo fight crime through the decades by talking to one another in different time periods through a transistor radio.
