‘Fuller House’ Season 3 will have a summer fun theme.

“Fuller House” Season 3 has officially started filming, and the cast are giving us some major hints about what to expect when the new episodes hit Netflix. While Season 1 of the show was more like a season of “Full House,” Season 2 featured nearly every holiday with special episodes for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve. However, Season 3 will be different.

According to E! Online, “Fuller House” Season 3 will be all about Summer fun. The entire season will be set within the summer, and will give fans a look at the Fuller/Tanner/Gibbler families celebrating the hottest time of the year. While no official details on episodes have been revealed yet, fans are already excited about the possibility of seeing episodes set at the beach, on vacation, amusement parks, ect.

However, there will be one big hurdle for the “Fuller House” cast. Actress Jodie Sweetin, who plays Stephanie Tanner on the show, recently suffered a severe leg injury, and due to her immobility the injury will have to be written into the show.  “There’s no hiding that I can’t walk,” Sweetin said. “And I can only be a houseplant in so many episodes where I’m just stuck somewhere.”

Stephanie’s injury should make for an interesting storyline, and possibly even bring her and her hew boyfriend, Jimmy Gibbler, even closer together. Fans can also likely expect for original cast members, Bob Saget, John Stamos, Dave Coulier, and Lori Laughlin to pop up in special episodes again in Season 3. However, it doesn’t look like Mary Kate and/or Ashley Olsen are ready to reprise their roles as Michelle Tanner anytime soon.

Currently there is no air date for Season 3 of “Fuller House,” but fan can watch the first two seasons streaming now on Netflix.
