Game of Thrones is officially back, and it seems like it has been forever since we’ve seen the happenings of Westeros. However, on Sunday night we’ll return to the Seven Kingdoms for some major drama. Since it has been so long, we’re giving you a refresher course of everything you need to remember before the big Season 7 premiere

Where in the world is Jorah?

Game of Thrones fans may remember that Jorah contracted Greyscale towards the end of Season 6, and then won Daenerys’ forgiveness. The Khalessi then ordered her most loyal subject to go out into the world and find a cure for the deadly disease. He left and fans haven’t seen him yet. However, it seems that Jorah’s story will likely be told this season whether he lives or dies.

The Brotherhood Without Banners is still out there

Ser Beric Dondarrion and The Brotherhood Without Banners are still out and about, and will likely be popping up again in Game of Thrones Season 7. We know from the teasers that the Hound is traveling with them as they head up North, and fans are fulling expecting Beric’s sword, Lightbringer, to be a major asset in the upcoming battles with the White Walkers.

Euron Greyjoy will have a much bigger role in Season 7

Fans may remember that Euron Greyjoy was introduced back in Season 6, and he caused a whole lot of trouble. He killed his own brother and turned on his niece and nephew, Yara and Theon, shortly after. Euron has high hopes of seducing Daenerys and marrying her in order to rule Westeros together. However, something tells us that is plans are not going to work out that way. As Game of Thrones fans will remember, Yara and Theon got to Dany first, and they’ve joined forces with her. However, it’s a safe bet that the Greyjoy’s will reunite with Euron in the near future.

Where the hell is Gendry?

It’s been ages since we’ve seen Gendry, the last living child of Robert Baratheon. Melisandre had been laying her witchy magic on him before Davos helped him escape for good by boat. We haven’t seen Arya’s former friend since, and Season 7 seems like the perfect time for Gendry to return.

The Children of the Forest made the White Walkers

Remember? Bran found out that the Children of the Forest were the first to make the Night King, and now he’s expanded his army of White Walkers, like a lot! Perhaps since they made them, they’ll also hold the key to killing them.

Jon Snow isn’t Ned Stark’s son

The Game of Thrones Season 6 finale revealed a major secret about Ned Stark and Jon Snow. Bran saw a vision Lyanna Stark making Ned promise to take her son and raise him while she lay on her deathbed. Lyanna is Jon’s real mother, which means that his dad is Rhaegar Targaryen. This reveal should be more than interesting, and put an even bigger bounty on Jon’s head.

The prophecy about Cersei’s little brother

During a flashback in Season 5, a young Cersei is told by a witch that all of her children will die, (check!) and that her little brother would kill her. While many Game of Thrones fans believe that Tyrion would be the one to do it, it actually may be Jaime, her brother/lover, who will see that she’s gone mad with power and end her before she can do anymore damage.

Bran’s been warging again…

Bran Stark learned to warg during Game of Thrones Season 6, and it’s been very useful for viewers who love to see the memories he can visit in his mind. However, it seems that with great knowledge will come great power with Bran, and he may be the key to defeating the White Walkers and telling Jon Snow about his true parentage.

Other tidbits to remember…

Ghost is still alive somewhere, Lyanna Mormont is a mini boss lady, Melisandre is a super old woman when she takes her necklace off, Tormund has the hots for Brienne, Littlefinger is in the North and trying to get down with Sansa, Benjen Stark is roaming around out in the wilderness, and Arya is crossing names of her hit list left and right, including the most recent, Walder Frey.

If you need anymore of a refresher than that then you probably should have re-watched all of the seasons before Sunday’s big premiere. However, HBO will likely show you anything you need to know during the previously, on Game of Thrones clips.
