With the news of a Game Of Thrones spin-off series starring Kit Harington as Jon Snow, fans were worried about what it would be about. First of all, Jon Snow had one of the happier endings in the Game Of Thrones series finale. Second, the end of Jon’s story in Game Of Thrones was not the most open-ended of things.
Sure the creators left some things to the imagination as Jon went back to the true north with the free folk. For the most part, it was received that Jon would lead them in a life beyond the Wall. Now, with actor Kit Harington speaking about Jon in his new spin-off, things don’t look great for Jon Snow according to Man Of Many.
New Game Of Thrones spin-off has fans excited
To shed some more light on this. Back last summer there was a rumor of a Game Of Thrones spin-off series. Later on, George R. R. Martin confirmed a Jon Snow spin-off series. This was actually Kit Harington’s idea as he brought his own team to pitch the show.
Although the Game Of Thrones ending was not well received by the fans, we should keep an eye on the Snow show. We will be following the True heir to the Iron Throne after the death of Daenerys. Jon was banished from Westeros and now lives north of the Wall.
“I think if you asked him, he would’ve felt he got off lightly.” Kit further added, “At the end of the show when we find him in that cell, he’s preparing to be beheaded and he wants to be. He’s done. The fact he goes to the Wall is the greatest gift and also the greatest curse.” He goes on to say that Jon now has to live with all of this trauma and pain that he has seen and caused. From the battle Of The Wall to the Battle Of The Bells Jon has seen and done unspeakable things to save his loved ones.
Jon Snow Will Face New Challenges
Kit Harington wants everyone to know that Jon Snow is not okay. Furthermore, he is left to deal with these feelings. To relive the moment he had to kill Dany over in his head. Jon Snow had an amazing journey during the events of A Song Of Ice And Fire.
Now it is time to see how his actions have changed him and how they affect his decision-making. Will we see Dragons? Will there be flashbacks with Dany? It will be interesting to see what happens to Jon Snow. As Jon tries to live a normal life in the true north.
