Country icon Garth Brooks rakes in millions of dollars a year, not to mention how much money his equally talented wife Trisha Yearwood adds to the pot. However, the singer refuses to blow his cash on celebrity luxuries and high living.

When fans hear that celebrities have crazy amounts of money at their disposal, they first think of all the elaborate spending they likely do. Garth Brooks reportedly has a net worth of $450 million, but according to Radar Online insiders, Garth lives a very frugal lifestyle.

Not only does the Friends In Low Places hitmaker live like he has a limited income, but he has taught his entire family to live the same, including his wife, Trisha Yearwood, and his three daughters from a previous marriage, August, Allie, and Taylor.

At 62, Garth Brooks has sold more than 157 million albums and owns numerous businesses, but acts like he doesn’t have a dime to his name. According to insiders, the couple in the country refuses to spend money on flashy vacation getaways, expensive cars, or dining out. “Garth borders on obsessive when it comes to living a simple life,” claims the source.

Garth Brooks Daughters To Receive Small, Modest Inheritance

Trisha Yearwood is reportedly just as frugal as her husband Garth Brooks. The singers pride themselves on living modestly and have passed their frugal beliefs down to his three daughters. The Brooks informant reveals that Garth’s daughters know that they will not receive a large inheritance when their father eventually passes away. Instead, they will each receive a small amount, and the rest of the singer’s vast estate is earmarked for the numerous charities the singer supports.

“Garth figures the best way to show his love for his daughter Is not to coddle them or cater to their every whim. In fact, when they were in high school, he insisted they take on modest jobs for spending money.”

The singer follows the same financial logic for his children that many other celebrities are adapting to. Celebrity parents are getting on board and cracking down on their off spring these days. A-listers including Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, Jeff Goldblum, Anderson Cooper, Marie Osmond, and Guy Fieri have all spoken publicly about NOT leaving their fortunes to their children.

Fieri stated he has already warned his children.‘I’ve told them the same thing my dad told me. My dad says, ‘When I die, you can expect that I’m going to die broke, and you’re going to be paying for the funeral.’”
