George Clooney and Amal Clooney are expecting twins!

George Clooney and his wife, Mal Clooney are pregnant and expecting twins. Just days after Beyonce and Jay Z’s big pregnancy and twin reveal, George and Amal are making it official as well. The Hollywood power couple officially announced that they are expecting two little bundles of joy in the very near future.

According to Us Weekly, “The Talk” host Julie Chen revealed on Thursday that she had confirmed with George Clooney, 55, that he and his wife, Amal Clooney, 39, were in fact expecting twins later this year. The couple are said to be due in June. It will mark the first children for both Amal and George, a one-time self proclaimed bachelor for life.

The Clooney’s first met through a mutual friend at a charity fundraiser in September of 2013. The Hollywood heartthrob and the human-rights lawyer began dating and finally got married during a star-studded wedding in Venice, Italy, in September of 2014. Guests like Bono, Bill Murray, Cindy Crawford, and Matt Damon were all in attendance to see George take the plunge.

Although George Clooney is usually very private about his marriage to Amal, the actor did joke, and give details on how they spent their 2-year wedding anniversary last fall.

“And they said it wouldn’t last. Ah, we proved them wrong!” George says he and Amal “mostly drank,” to celebrate the milestone, but he also cooked for her in celebration of the big day. “I [made] dinner and we had a very nice, a very romantic second anniversary.”
