“Boy Meets World” fans have really taken to “Girl Meets World,” along with a whole new generation of young fans. Of course, the diehards live for the moments when they get a glimpse of former characters lives, and with some patience they’ll finally get to see what happened to Cory Matthews’ crazy, lovable older brother, Eric Matthews, played by Will Friedle.

That’s right, Eric Matthews is set to return in “Girl Meets World” Season 2, which is currently filming. BMW Sequel rounded up all the tweets from the show’s writers and what they found were some awesome spoilers to look forward to in the near future.
‘Girl Meets World’ Spoilers: Eric’s Life Has Changed
Here’s what we know. Eric will appear in at least 2 episodes of “Girl Meets World” in Season 2. He has moved upstate for a good reason, and we’ll find out why during his episodes. The first episode will come early in Season 2, somewhere between episode 3 and 5. Eric has a job that impacts a lot of people. Maybe he’s a doctor, lawyer, or a teacher like his brother Cory. Also, Eric’s life is about to change. Maybe he’s married and his wife is pregnant, or he’s getting married? We can’t wait to find out! We’ll also get to see Eric interact with his youngest brother Josh, as he’s quickly become a fan favorite among “Girl Meets World” fans.
It’s great to know that “Boy Meets World” and “Girl Meets World” fans will get to see plenty of Eric Matthews in Season 2, and we hope he’s just as crazy and funny as ever! Stay tuned for more info as we get it.
The Gang’s Back Together
Us Weekly reports that Mr. Feeny will also play a big role in Season 2 as Cory, Topanga, Shawn, and Eric will all get together and visit Mr. Feeny’s home to retrieve something from the past! What could it be? We don’t know just yet, but we’re dying to find out!
“Shawn, Eric and Mr. Feeny will be an important part of season 2,” the Girl Meets World writers tweeted. “Lives will change. People will grow. People won’t… We just completed two shows with William Daniels. The cast went to Mr. Feeny’s house to retrieve something from the past.”
