Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez have announced their divorce after 2 years of marriage. The couple, who share one child together, son Maceo, 2, released a statement about ending their marriage to TMZ on Tuesday.

Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez’s divorce has been rumored for about a year now, as reports continued to fly that they have been on the rocks. In addition, Olivier and Halle’s ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey have made headlines for fighting, and even beat each other up in a now infamous Thanksgiving brawl.

This will mark the third divorce for Halle Berry, who was previously married to baseball player David Justice from 1993-1997, and singer Eric Benet from 2001-2005. After her second divorce, Berry claimed that she would never get married again, but had a change of heart after meeting Olivier Martinez.
Now that Halle is back on the market it will be interesting to see how she deals with her new single status. Some actresses chose to throw themselves into their family lives, spending more time with their children, while other focus on their careers, as Berry has been more off the radar than in the past since marrying Martinez. She may possibly even begin dating, as she is still one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood.
