House Of The Dragon Season 2 Update: TV Fans Finally Have Hope

House of The Dragon” is HBO’s first “Game of Thrones” spin-off, and fans absolutely loved it. The show is a prequel series all about the iconic and interesting house of Targaryen. Of course, there are so many dragons and so much drama. While it seems like forever since Season 1 of the series first aired, there is a hopeful update regarding Season 2.

According to Scorpio Like You, “House of The Dragon” may actually be on schedu le to return when it was originally scheduled to return, in the summer of 2024. Fans know that the recent writers and actors strikes have majorly delayed several projects. However, streaming series like “Stranger Things,” “Bridgerton,” and are already known for having several months, even years between seasons.

Thankfully, it looks like “HOTD” might be back sooner than some of your other favorite TV shows. The strikes have been hard on TV fans who aren’t getting much new content to date. However, looking forward to Season 2 of “House of the Dragon” is something that viewers can really get behind. After an explosive Season 1, fans are ready to see what lies ahead for the Targaryen family as they seemingly look to go to war against one another in a battle over the Iron Throne.

What we know about HoTD Season 2

Not much is known about “House of The Dragon” Season 2. However, fans can expect a lot of drama and great visual effects. Sadly, the season will be shorter than the first. However, it does appear that there will be more action and the storyline will move more quickly throughout those episodes. In addition, viewers can expect to see a more powerful Rhanenyra.

“The moment that she receives the news of Luke’s passing, that attempt at mediation crumbles,” Emma D’Arcy told Entertainment Weekly about her character’s mindset in Season 2. “I don’t think there is any longer the bandwidth to suppress and repress her nature… I am excited to discover what happens when Rhaenyra does less navigating and more acting on her instincts and desires. For so many very legitimate reasons, she has her hands tied practically throughout Season 1. I have a feeling that the rain might be off for Season 2.” 

Game of Thrones” fans couldn’t be more stoked about the return of “House of The Dragon,” and will wait as long as needed to ensure an epic season 2.
