Remember the 1997 horror flick, “I Know What You Did Last Summer” starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Ryan Phillippe? Well it’s getting a remake!
‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ remake is happening
According to Entertainment Weekly, the scary movie about a gang of teenagers who accidentally hit a man on the road, and leave him for dead is coming back to the big screen.
Sony is reportedly shooting for the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” remake to be released in 2016, which means the script and casting will likely be happening soon, which leaves filming to be shot in 2015 and possibly 2016 depending on the actual release date.
Who will be cast in the ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ reboot?
Fans of the film have mixed opinions about the reboot. Some are calling it a good idea, as the film will be scarier with a modern edge, which could include texting, social media, Skype, ect, into the plotline, as the killer sends the teens ominous notes throughout the movie.
Now all we really need to know is who will be starring in the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” remake, as the young stars of the original movie all had great careers before, and continued to have success later in to their careers.
