‘Independence Day’ sequel in the works confirms Jeff Goldblum
According to TIME, Jeff Goldblum won’t suffer the same fate of not being included, as he did in the “Jurassic Park” reboot, as he’s revealed that there is a part for him in the “Independence Day” sequel if it should officially happen.
“I had a meeting and have been talking over the last several months or year with Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin, the producer, and they’ve been cooking up and say they have a part for me in what they hope will be a plan to make another one pretty soon,” Goldblum said of the “Independence Day” sequel.
Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith to reunite for ‘Independence Day’ sequel?
Most recently, Jeff Goldblum starred in a GE commercial for their new high tech light bulb, which can be turned on and off by using a cell phone, had a guest starring role on “The League,” and has expressed interest in hosting “Saturday Night Live” again.
If the “Independence Day” sequel does happen it’s good to know that Jeff Goldblum will have a part, but will Will Smith also be back? It could be a great way to re-energize Goldblum’s career, and make us fall in love with Will Smith all over again. However, Smith is not expected to return. Meanwhile, Bill Pullman is expected to return for “Independence Day 2.”
