Fans are really missing MTV’s hit reality dating series, “Are You The One?” The series features a group of men and women who are looking to find their “perfect match,” who is living in a house with them. The show quickly became a favorite among reality TV fans. last aired in 2019 and was thought to be on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. However, there have yet to be any announcements about a possible Season 9 of the show.
Currently, MTV has a casting call out in hopes of finding people who are looking to find the one. Although they don’t confirm if the casting call is for “Are You The One?” it certainly appears that it may be.
Meanwhile, some fans believe that the network is waiting to make an official decision about “AYTO” until an investigation surrounding claims made by a former cast member is finished.
The Daily Beast reports that former contestant Gianna Hammer claims that she was given an extra dose of anti-anxiety medication while consuming alcohol during Season 5. Hammer says that she eventually blacked out and was assaulted by another cast member without the crew intervening. Hammer also claimed that one of her co-stars often used racial slurs without any repercussions.

Fans want to know what’s going on with Season 9 of ‘Are You The One?’
All the while, fans continue to be in the dark when it comes to the fate of the series, and they want answers.
“@MTV are we ever getting more Are You the One? or nah,” one Twitter user wrote. “every day that are you the one season 9 doesn’t come out is another day wasted,” another commented. “Someone needs to tell me ASAP when “are you the one” season 9 is coming out ? Mtv can’t leave me hanging,” a third viewer tweeted. “Can we start petitioning for an are you the one season 9,” a fourth person said.
It appears that the fans have spoken. They want Season 9 of “Are You The One?” For now, it’s just a waiting game as the network stays mum about the fate of the popular match-making series. When and if there are any new updates on the show we’ll have them for you when they come available.
