“Tell Me Lies” has become an obsession among TV and book fans. The Hulu series is based off of the novel of the same name. However, the show has proven to be one juicy 40-minute weekly escape for fans who not only love messy drama, twists and turns, but also mysteries. No one can figure out what to expect next, and as Season 2 is set to come to a close next week, viewers are hoping for a Season 3 announcement very soon.
The Direct reports that “Tell Me Lies” has currently not been renewed for Season 3. However, there is no reason to worry. The odds that the show will be back for another season are very likely. Not only is the series a huge hit for the streamer, but the showrunner says that there is so much more story to tell.
Tell Me Lies Season 3 In The Works?
“It’s definitely still a create process. I had more of Season 2 figures out from the beginning. Season 3 is definitely more uncharted territory. But I have — there are a lot of ideas of what could happen. I think that certain characters definitely deserve justice that I think needs to happen if there’s a Season 3… I think there’s always more story to tell,” Meaghan Oppenheimer told DC Film Girl.
“Tell Me Lies” Season 2 will air its finale on Wednesday, October 16. After that, fans will be on high alert waiting for Season 3 renewal news. However, that may take up to a month.
After Season 1 began in September and ended in October 2023, the show was renewed in November of last year. The same timeline could and will likely be true this year as well. That means if Season 3 is renewed then fans will likely be watching it in fall 2025.
It seems like forever to wait to find out what Lucy and Stephen’s next toxic move will be. We also don’t quite know what’s going on with Wrigley’s brother, Drew, or Pippa and Diana’s romance. Of course, Bree is now hiding a secret of her own with a mysterious phone call before her wedding.
It’s safe to say that there is a lot more to unpack with this scandalous group of college friends, and fans are dying to see more. Season 3 can’t come soon enough.
