Stephen King’s “IT” opens this weekend, and fans are going to be rushing to the movie theater to watch the first part of the highly anticipated horror remake. While the movie is already getting stellar reviews, there could be an issue with the sequel, which is set to focus on the “Loser’s Club” as adults, 27 years in the future.

According to Express, actor Bill Skarsgard, who bravely took on the role of Pennywise the clown in the 2017 “IT” movie adaptation, has allegedly been suffering from disturbing dreams since donning the clown costume and white makeup.

While “IT Part 2” is not yet officially confirmed, the movie is expected to make a ton at the box office, meaning that the sequel is basically already in the bag. However, Bill Skarsgard is reportedly having “mixed feelings” about returning to the franchise to play Pennywise a second time.

“It’s funny, I went back to Stockholm after we wrapped, Bill Skarsgard recently revealed. “And every night for two weeks, I had these strange recurring Pennywise dreams. I was him, but I was in the wrong setting somehow. I was upset that people could see my face. It was surreal. I can’t explain it.”

If Bill Skarsgard decided not to return to “IT” for part 2, it could cause quite a problem for the studio, but also for fans. While there were a number of actors being considered for the role, such as Will Poulter, who was cast the first time the adaptation was ordered, and actress Tilda Swinton, fans could potentially see a casting shakeup if Skarsgard was too disturbed by the creepy clown role.
