‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ Renewed Through Season 14

Uproxx reports that “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” fans are rejoicing this week as the show has been renewed by FXX for two more seasons. (It was already renewed through Season 12.) “Sunny” has become one of the most iconic comedy shows on TV, and upon airing its 14th season will tie “The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet” as the longest running live-action TV series in history.

“If anyone doubts the power of a camcorder and a dream, just look at It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which was a DIY backyard pilot when Rob, Charlie, and Glenn brought it to FX and will go down in TV history as one of the most loved and enduring comedies,” said Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, Presidents of Original Programming for FX Networks.

‘It’s Always Sunny’ Makes TV History With 14th Season

“Few shows make it this far or have such devoted fans, and we owe it all to the creative vision and great humor of the creators and cast who keep Sunny fresh and inventive every season.”

During “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” Season 11 the gang took the comedy to a whole new level with episodes based on 80’s cheesy comedy films, Chardee Macdennis, and the gang going to tell, so there is no telling what the group may be up to in future seasons. However, one thing is for sure, we can’t wait to find out.
