Jared Leto won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “Dallas Buyers Club,” in which he played a transsexual drug addict named Rayon.

Now the actor is revealing that he considered attending the Academy Awards in drag, which would have caused quite the stir at the show, and in the media.
“I thought about dragging up for the Oscars, going as Rayon, because I knew that she would have loved to be there. It’s so much work for girls to get ready. I was brought up by my mom, so I always had an appreciation of women. But now I have more respect for the process,” Jared Leto explained.
More serious roles for Jared?
Jared has been making a huge splash since his amazing performance in “Dallas Buyers Club,” and fans are wondering if he’ll begin to take on more serious and challenging roles in the future.
While Leto is also the front man of band, 30 Seconds to Mars, he’s got a great gift for acting, and fans would love for him to share it more often!
