Jay Z and Solange talk elevator fight
Jay Z and Solange Knowles have finally spoken out about the elevator fight video that was recently released to the media following an after party at the Met Gala.
Beyonce’s husband Jay Z and sister Solange Knowles released a joint statement earlier today revealing that they are both to blame for the violent physical altercation that was caught on tape stating that “families have problems.”
Statement reveals family problems behind fight
The statement reads,
“Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.
“The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day families have problems and we’re no different.”
“We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.”
The joint statement issued by both Jay Z and Solange Knowles’ reps have not revealed the initial reason behind the huge family blow up and are choosing to remain silent on the matter.
The release of this statement still has celebrity news followers scratching their heads wondering just what really went down between the family members, and if the statement release is just another tactic to cover up what is really an ugly situation going on between the family members.
As previously reported, following the family fight Solange Knowles deleted pictures of Beyonce from her Instagram account, she and Jay Z were reported to have been spotted jewelry shopping together, and Beyonce is reportedly having her wedding ring tattoo removed.
Whatever happened between them sounds to be pretty serious, and statement or not many believe that it is all about trying to maintain a certain image, one that will keep fans happy and bringing in the cash.
