Jenelle Evans is reportedly not happy at all about continuing her relationship with the MTV reality series “Teen Mom 2.” According to US reports Jenelle has been very vocal on Twitter about being “locked in a contract.”
It sounds as if Jenelle Evans clearly wants to be finished with MTV and “Teen Mom 2,” however, according to the report she is being forced to continue filming because the network refuses to let her out of her contract. Jenelle Evans claims she has been offered numerous offers from other networks for potential television projects.
“Have lots of offers from many different people, but you have to turn them down when you’re locked in a contract. #Annoying,” the 26-year-old reality star tweeted on Sunday, August 5. “Just clarifying rumors.”
One fan asked if she was “still locked in a contract even with being off the show now,” Evans replied, “Unfortunately, yes. Still butting heads.”
It has been a rocky road for Jenelle Evans and “Teen Mom 2 execs. Jenelle threatened to leave the popular reality series at the end of July
unless producers agreed to her demands, mainly, rehiring her husband David Eason who was fired last February following a series of homophobic tweets.
“He will film the next season or I’m not doing it,” Evans said during the episode. “I have people offering me stuff for Netflix and Amazon right now
… I will do my own thing.”
This statement has sparked a huge interest from Evans’ social media followers as to what type of television offers Jenelle Evans may have had, with many wondering if Jenelle is looking to stay in the reality television business, or branch out into an acting career?
As previously reported, Jenelle Evans has been battling custody issues with her ex Nathan Griffith. It is obvious Evans is getting tired of dealing with all the social media fallout that comes from being a reality television star. However, MTV is well aware that Jenelle Evans drama is a huge draw for the “Teen Mom 2” series and will most likely hold Evans to her contract with a tight grasp.

As of yet, MTV has not announced whether or not there will be cast changes for Season 9 of Teen Mom 2. However, a recent announcement has been made that Bristol Palin has been hired at “Teen Mom OG” to fill the void of the terminated Farrah Abraham.
The drama between MTV’s Teen Mom 2 and Jenelle Evans is far from over.
