Jenelle Evans and her husband David Eason‘s lives remain in turmoil. The drama surrounding the former “Teen Mom” star and her teenage son, Jace Evans, is escalating, and it doesn’t look like it is near ending for them.
David Eason Officially Charged with Child Abuse
David Eason was officially charged with child abuse on Tuesday, October 24. The news broke early in the day, stating that David was receiving a misdemeanor charge of child abuse. The charges stem from an ongoing investigation in September after Jenelle Evans’ 14-year-old son Jace Evans accused his step-dad David Eason of allegedly assaulting him.
TMZ reported that law enforcement sources also state that there is a possibility that Jenelle could also face charges. “Our law enforcement sources tell us while Jenelle hasn’t yet been charged, there’s a possibility she could eventually face charges as well.”
Things are not going quite as the couple hoped, and Jenelle is furious. She claims the legal system and law enforcement authorities have betrayed her.
Jenelle Evans Feels Betrayed By the System
HND recently reported that Jenelle Evans and David Eason said Jace Evans was missing from their North Carolina home on three separate occasions from the end of August until the end of September.
It hit the fan for Jenelle and David after Jace went missing for the third time. After officials located Jace Evans following his third runaway attempt, Jace accused David of allegedly assaulting him.
Authorities reportedly found numerous marks on his person. He was then transported to a local hospital, where he received care until his release on Tuesday, October 10, into the custody of his maternal grandma, Barbara Evans.

Jace Evans has reportedly made it clear that he no longer wants to live with Jenelle Evans and David Eason. It has been confirmed by both The Sun and The Ashley that Jenelle Evans has been banned from making contact with her son. Jenelle cannot call or see her son. She is allowed no contact whatsoever.

On Tuesday, Jenelle Evans spoke out on social media, revealing her feelings on David Eason’s charges. She tells her followers that things are not as they seem. Reports indicate that the incident between Jace and David was recorded on a neighbor’s Ring camera and turned over to the authorities.
The former “Teen Mom” couple, David Eason and Jenelle Evans, continue to deny all accusations. Jenelle says that, as of now, she no longer trusts any of the people around her. During her social media rant to her followers, Jenelle says she is fed up. She is tired of dealing with everyone. She also implies that she is ready to go missing in action.
Jenelle wants to lie low, away from the drama and the press. However, she says she plans to have her day in court. She also says that the truth will all come out when she has her day. Evans says everyone will be shocked when the true story is revealed.
She also plans to stand by her husband, David Eason. Per The Ashley, Jenelle stated, “I want to give my husband the most support and props a man can ever have!” Jenelle said to her followers,
“Because he has the most patience I’ve ever seen out of any human being right now…It just makes me really sad for David. Because David is just, like, taking all these punches, rollin’ with it. Not saying s**t.”
