Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart have split after 2 ½ years together. The couple met when Casper was a backup dancer for the American Idol judge, and their romance quickly bloomed.

While Casper has been making headlines for allegedly engaging in sexual text messages, and a possible affair with a transgender model, sources say that the break up process started a few months ago!
“It has actually been an amicable process that started a few months ago,” the J.Lo insider says. “It wasn’t an easy decision, but they decided to stay friends…Their relationship couldn’t work with the distance. He started trying to establish his own life and career, and she is so focused on hers, and they just couldn’t be all about each other anymore,” the source added of Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart’s split.
JLO doing fine after an amicable split
JLO is said to be doing “fine” after the split, and focusing her energy on her career, and hopefully her children, who were also very close to Smart.
Jennifer Lopez has been largely unlucky in love as she’s been married 3 times, most recently to the father of her twins, Marc Anthony, and had multiple famous boyfriends such as Casper Smart, Ben Affleck, and P. Diddy.
However, nothing seems to stop JLO from doing her thing. She continues to expand her career in music, hosting, and acting, and really has a pretty great life, right?
