Jennifer Lopez No Longer Wants To Date Men Amid Ben Affleck Split: ‘Get Ready For An All New JLo’

Jennifer Lopez appears on TV.

Jennifer Lopez is ready for an entirely new chapter in her life. After filing for divorce from Ben Affleck after two years of marriage, the singer is turning a page. She is reportedly focused on herself as she figures out the final details of her split with the actor. While JLo is known for jumping from relationship to relationship, this time may be very different for the the Hustlers star.

Life and Style sources reveal that Jennifer Lopez once called her first split with Ben Affleck “the biggest heartbreak” of her life. In the early 2000s, the couple called off their wedding. Nearly 20 years later, they rekindled their romance. Unfortunately, their marriage was short-lived. Now, JLo is looking to heal and move on from the past.

Jennifer Lopez Set Major Dating Goal Amid Ben Affleck Divorce

“It really did a number on her,” an insider said of the divorce. “Friends and family have noticed a major shift — she’s finally ready to move on. She decided to do some introspection — she says four divorces will do that. Get ready for an all new JLo — she wants to start a new chapter.”

Part of Lopez’s new chapter is swearing off men. While it seems unlikely that she’ll remain single for too long, the singer has a goal. She’s said to be looking to stay single for at least a year following her divorce from Affleck.

“She’s determined to turn all this heartbreak into her superpower, to take ownership of any self-destruction and make changes,” said the insider. “Which is why she’s taking a break from men — a year off at least.” It’s not easy, but JLo is moving forward with a new outlook on life.”

It appears that Jennifer Lopez’s divorce from Ben Affleck is a fresh start for the singer. She’s reportedly ready for the future and has a plan for herself. Maybe JLo being focused on her own well-being, kids, and career will help her move forward once her marriage is officially declared dead.
