They’re both actresses, working mothers, and know what it’s like to be in a high-profile relationship. However, now that they are both divorced from Affleck, their dynamic has reportedly changed and it may be surprising to some fans.
According to a recent report by Us Weekly, Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner are on great terms. The two are actually even friends. A source tells the outlet that Garner is “one of the few people JLo trusts” in her life. That’s high praise. It likely stems from the interaction of blending their families and the bond that their children share with one another. As moms, they can relate to that.
A source told a similar story to People Magazine last month, revealing that Lopez and Garner have nothing but love for each other.

“I think the two Jens are great admirers of the other, and I think they’re all co-parenting,” the insider said. “There is no animosity. They are friendly. We’re always pitting women against women. In this case, it’s just not the truth.”
For his part, Affleck is also on good terms with both of his ex-wives. Of course, he and Garner share three children together, Violet, Fin, and Samuel. So, they’re connected for life. However, he recently gushed over JLo on the red carpet. He was even seen spending time with her children. It seems that family is important to all parties involved and they’re working hard to keep it that way.
However, not all fans believe that it’s all sunshine and rainbows between Garner, Lopez, and Affleck.
“Jennifer Garner has the tabloids on speed dial. Garner doesn’t have much of a career to fall back on and spends her money on the tabloids and overly positive media attention from them,” one person tweeted.
“I don’t believe this. JLo has more important things to do, JLo is not interested in this family anymore, leave JLo alone,” another wrote.
“Just stop. Jlo has no relationship with any of these people,” a third comment read.
It’s unlikely that Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner will ever be best friends. However, they do seem to have some sort of mutual respect for each other amid all of the Ben Affleck relationship drama.
