Jennifer Lopez is reportedly threatened by her husband Ben Affleck’s strong connection with his former wife, Jennifer Garner. JLo allegedly doesn’t like the relationship that Affleck and Garner have, which seems light and breezy in the years since their divorce.
Jennifer Lopez not happy with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s relationship?
According to Life & Style, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck may be the original “Bennifer.” However, that doesn’t mean that JLo is happy with the strong friendship and connection that her husband has with Jennifer Garner.
“JLo rages when she gets jealous or feels threatened, and Ben has been on the receiving end of her wrath,” an insider told the outlet. “JLo has demanded that Ben spend less time with Jen and focus more on her instead, screaming at him: ‘She’s your ex-wife for a reason!’”
There have been plenty of rumors regarding Affleck and Garner’s relationship since their split. In addition, the pair have been seen laughing together and looking comfortable in each other’s presence as they co-parent their three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Sam.
Affleck and Garner seemingly have a great relationship post-divorce
For fans who don’t know Ben Affleck’s dating history, he and Jennifer Lopez dated in the early 2000s. They were engaged but called off their wedding before splitting in early 2004. The following year, Affleck married Jennifer Garner. The duo welcomed three children and later divorced in 2018. In 2021, Affleck reconnected with Lopez, and the two tied the knot in 2022.
After Affleck and Garner’s divorce, the actor admitted publicly that his failed marriage was the “biggest regret” of his life. “She’s just a fabulous person,” Affleck said of his ex-wife after their split. “She’s somebody that I admire and respect.”
These days Affleck and Garner appear to be good friends who raise their children together. However, sources claim that the “Good Will Hunting” star may depend on his ex a bit too much. Of course, JLo reportedly doesn’t like the situation.
Ben Affleck leaning on Jennifer Garner instead of JLo?
As previously reported by Hollywood News Daily, Ben Affleck has allegedly been leaning heavily on Jennifer Garner amid issues in his life. There have been plenty of rumors about turmoil in his marriage with Jennifer Lopez. Speculation that the two are butting heads at home has been revealed. There are also reports that JLo refuses to allow female flight attendants work her flights.
“Ben’s reliance on Jen as a confidante may have crossed the line,” a source dished. “He’s made some shocking confessions to her about JLo’s temper and the ugly texts she sends him, which he shouldn’t have done. He admitted that her notorious diva attitude can be very hard to handle.”
Now, Lopez is allegedly demanding that Affleck shape up and put her first, instead of running to Garner with his problems.
