Jimmy Osmond, 55, has reportedly banned his brothers from visiting him following his stroke. Jimmy, the youngest of the large Osmond family clan suffered a stroke in December, and according to National Enquirer reports has not allowed visits from his family since.
The Osmond family have been very concerned for their little brother Jimmy Osmond and are very upset that they have been left in the dark about his current health status. “The severity of it — none of us know. It’s the way his family wants it.”
Merrill Osmond, 65, and one of the members of the popular 70s singing group reportedly told the Daily Express that Jimmy has made it clear, and requested all of his brothers stay away from him while he recovers. Merrill states that he knows that Jimmy has been through a lot and wants to be alone with his family while he undergoes recovery. He also added that he and his famous brothers are stepping back and giving Jimmy the space he has requested despite how hard it is.
Jimmy Osmond suffered a stroke on December 27, following a performance of Peter Pan at Birmingham Hippodrome. He began feeling ill during the performance, however, pushed through and was driven to the hospital where he was diagnosed as having suffered a stroke.
The entire Osmond family, especially Donny Osmond ans sister Marie began asking fans via social media to please pray for their brother Jimmy. Two days later Jimmy Osmond’s rep stated that he was on the road to recovery.
Merrill appears to be a little skeptical adding that he wished he knew first hand how his brother was doing and that he was getting all the care he needs. This is Jimmy’s second stroke. His first took place in 2004 at the age of 40. We wish Jimmy Osmond the best and a speedy and full recovery.
