Jodie Sweetin Joins ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 22
Jodie Sweetin, who shot to fame as Stephanie Tanner on ABC’s “Full House” has signed on to take a spin in the ballroom, much like her on-screen big sister, and “Fuller House” co-star, Candace Cameron Bure.
Sweetin, who is currently reprising her role as Stephanie on Netflix’s “Full House” spin off, “Fuller House,” announced that she was, in fact, joining “Dancing With The Stars” this season, and that her partner would be Keo Mostepe, during an appearance on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday.
“I’ve always loved to dance, and Stephanie was a dancer on the show, and I danced growing up. I have some experience. I have some rhythm,” Jodie Sweetin says of her decision to join “Dancing With The Stars.”
Candace Cameron Bure, who did very well during her time on “Dancing With The Stars,” gushed over Jodie Sweetin’s exciting new project and gave her full support to her on-screen little sister.

“I am so ready; I am more than ready,” Candace told E! News. “I am just there. I will try not to take over for her because I might nudge myself back onto that dance floor.”
Jodie Sweetin also revealed that her time with Maks and Val Chmerkovskiy on “Fuller House” helped make the decision about joining “Dancing With The Stars” a bit easier for her. (If you haven’t seen that episode head on over to Netflix right now!)
Meanwhile, Jodie Sweetin has more than just her “Dancing With The Stars” gig to look forward to. On Wednesday it was announced that Netflix had renewed “Fuller House” for Season 2.
