Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are over. The singer has officially filed for divorce from the “Game of Thrones” star, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ. Jonas hired lawyer Tom Sasser, who represented Tiger Woods in his divorce to Elin Nordegren.
The outlet claims that Jonas and Turner have been going through some serious marital problems for at least six months. The couple, who share two children together, are now opting to end their marriage, with insiders claiming that Jonas had been the primary caregiver to the duo’s children “pretty much all of the time.” In addition to filing for divorce, Jonas is also asking for joint custody of their kids. However, Jonas may try to gain more than 50% physical custody of their two daughters.

Sources tell the outlet that Joe and Sophie had totally different personalities. They simply couldn’t mesh their lifestyles. Sources suggest that Turner liked to go out and party, while Jonas preferred to stay home with their children.
Jonas and Turner first started dating in 2016. They quickly became a beloved celebrity couple and got engaged just one year into their relationship. Meanwhile, the pair surprised fans with a Las Vegas wedding in 2019. They later held another ceremony. The news of their divorce comes shortly after the pair sold their $15 million Miami home.
Sophie Turner was recently seen cheering on Joe Jonas at a Jonas Brothers concert in New York City just days before their divorce filing. The actress even shared a photo of herself kissing her husband’s hand. Meanwhile, Joe and his brothers, Nick and Kevin, are scheduled to continue their tour throughout June 2024.
