There have been a lot of rumors surrounding the couple’s marriage. However, the latest news revolves around the battle over their two children.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner share two children together. Despite their divorce, the pair are both fighting hard for custody of their kids. Sadly, this means that things have gotten a bit sour between them. On Sept. 21, Turner filed a lawsuit against Jonas claiming that he was wrongfully keeping their daughters in the U.S. although he allegedly agreed to allowing the UK to be their primary home back in 2022.
According to Us Weekly, Turner allowed Jonas to take their children to the United States and bring them on tour with him while she was busy working in the UK. The former “Game of Thrones” star allegedly had “hesitation” about the move, which was meant to be a “temporary arrangement,” she claimed in her filing. Turner also claimed that Jonas has possession of her daughters’ passports and “refuses” to return them, making it impossible for them to return to the UK with her.
Sophie says she found out about the divorce through the media
Another shocking claim in Sophie Turner’s lawsuit is that she found out about Joe Jonas’ plan to divorce her through the media. However, the singer fired back through his rep. Jonas’ team announced that the divorce allegations were “misleading” and that Turner “was aware” of his plans to file for divorce.
The rep also revealed that Jonas wants shared parenting with Turner. Jonas is reportedly fine with the kids being raised in the UK and the US. However, the children were both born in the United States. They’re citizens and have spent the majority of their time in the country.

The custody battle is just the latest shocker in Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s divorce saga. As previously reported by Hollywood News Daily, there appears to be much more to the story. TMZ reports that Jonas found something on the couple’s Ring camera that pushed him over the edge. It’s unknown what it was, but it allegedly and sent him to a divorce lawyer.
One source claimed that Jonas does the majority of the parenting when it comes to their children. In addition, the duo are said to have vastly different lifestyles. Jonas is said to be more of a homebody, while Turner likes to go out and party.

Just weeks after Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ divorce filing, speculation began to circulate that the actress may be dating “Fear The Walking Dead” star Frank Dillane. The pair are currently filming a TV series together and were spotted kissing on set. However, there is no confirmation that anything romantic is going on between them off-camera.
