Joey Feek reveals having heart-to-heart talks with Jesus

Rory Feek shared a heartbreaking blog post updating fans on the health of his dying wife, Joey Feek, revealing she is ready to “come home to Jesus.” The post was shared on Saturday reading, “Here I sit beside my dying wife,” he wrote. “I don’t say those words lightly. As a matter-of-fact, I haven’t said them at all. But my beautiful bride has said them to me in these couple of days.” Rory revealed that Joey’s pain has increased dramatically in the past few days, and she has told him that she is ready to die.

“Her pain and discomfort has continued to increase daily and so has the morphine to help her be comfortable,” he adds. “The dosage she’s needed to keep the pain away has quadrupled in the last four days. I’d like to tell you that she’s doing great and is going to beat this thing. But I can’t. Yesterday with tears in her eyes and mine, Joey held my hand and told me that she has been having serious talks with Jesus. She said she told him that if He’s ready to take her… she’s ready to come home.”

At this time, it is expected that Joey will last only a few more days before she is called home and her battle with cancer comes to an end for the courageous singer. Our prayers continue to be with Joey Feek and her family during this difficult and heartbreaking time.
