Proud dad John Travolta took to social media sharing photos of his and late wife Kelly Preston’s son Benjamin Travolta.
It has been a long and challenging year for the Travolta family since losing wife and mom Kelly Preston. However, according to Yahoo News, it has not stopped John from doing what he loves best, being a father.
John Travolta and family’s bond grows
Sadly, on July 12, 2020, Kelly Preston lost her two-year-long and private battle with breast cancer at the age of 57. The Travolta family rep confirmed Kelly’s passing.
Since Kelly’s death, John has made it his mission to remain incredibly close with daughter Ella and son Benjamin. One look in John’s eyes and you know that the kids are his whole world.
In the latest family photos, John happily cuddles with 10-year-old Benjamin. Ben, often referred to as his late mom Kelly’s look-a-like, appears happy and well adjusted.
Travolta takes pride in putting family first
John also posted a second photo on his Instagram account that the Travolta family has added a new addition into the mix. John and Ben are seen engaged in a loving embrace with huge smiles on their face as Ben holds a new kitten.
It melts fans’ hearts to see John go above and beyond with his children. Getting through 2020 has been especially trying for all. Travolta has stepped up for his family during this challenging year by making the most of every moment, big or small.
As previously reported by Hollywood News Daily, fans got a rare treat in February during Super Bowl. An ad for Scotts Miracle-Gro melted fans’ hearts as they watched John dancing alongside daughter Ella Bleu Travolta, 20.

The father/daughter combined forces, paying tribute to Travolta’s 1978 “Grease” character Danny Zuko. The Travolta duo re-enacted the dance that he and “Grease” co-star Olivia Newton-John showcased more than four decades ago.
The ad was a Super Bowl favorite. John Travolta is totally proud of his kids and incredibly close to his family. His daughter, Ella Travolta, has publically called her dad John her best friend. It is beautiful to see a family overcome a tragic loss and strengthen their family bond even in the most challenging times.
