Jon Gosselin and daughter Hannah Gosselin continue to grow closer and closer in 2018. The former reality star and daughter minus her seven brothers and sisters appear to be having the time of their lives hanging out in matching outfits celebrating the July 4 holiday according to In Touch.
It has been no secret that since the divorce Jon Gosselin has had a tough time keeping relationships with his eight children with Kate Gosselin. In fact, the father/kid relationships have pretty much been non-existent until lately. The former TLC “Jon and Kate Plus 8” star was basically completely shut out of his kids lives following the nasty and brutal divorce proceedings between himself and Kate Gosselin.
However, since May Jon Gosselin and daughter Hannah have been spending tons of time together, even visiting sextuplet brother Collin Gosselin who has been living in a behavioral treatment facility for nearly two-years.
It is great to finally see Jon getting some time with his daughter, but what fans are really chomping at the bit to know is “Why is Hannah Gosselin” the only Gosselin child visiting her dad? As previously reported by Blasting News in 2017 Jon and Kate Gosselin engaged in a heated and physical encounter involving daughter Hannah outside the dentist office. It appeared that Hannah was refusing to return home with Kate and an argument broke out.
Reportedly Kate tried to physically place Hannah in her car and Hannah’s arm was injured in the scuffle. Long story short, cops were called and Hannah was taken to the hospital to check out an injured arm. Ever since it appears that Hannah has been very vocal about wanting to spend time with dad.
At the end of May, Jon Gosselin posted a very cryptic post to his social media account that led followers to believe that a big change had taken place in his custody arrangement with Kate. Jon went on to talk about a situation, without revealing what the situation actually was. However, since Jon and Hannah have been spending a lot of time together, and Hannah has been living full-time at Jon’s home.
Despite Jon Gosselin’s victory concerning Hannah, it, however, appears that the rest of his children at this time are not on the same page as far as visiting their dad. All of the Gosselin children are quite old enough to voice their opinions on the matter, and Mady and Cara have claimed before they do not have a relationship with their dad. As for the other four Gosselin sextuplets remaining at home, it is not known just what the story is behind it all.
The Gosselin’s story has been an interesting and troubled story from the start, and while we don’t know all the details of the relationship dynamics yet, it is believed sooner than later someone will write their tell-all version of “Growing Up Gosselin” perhaps in a “Mommie Dearest” style bio.
