With the release of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240, we also got a look at a new spread of Jujutsu High’s heavy hitters. Yuta, Hakari, Maki, and of course, Yuji were all front and center for this colored spread. One thing was very different about our main character though. Yuji Is Up Next!
Flashing back to Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 238, Itadori was gearing up for his big moment. Yuji finally jumped into the battle to face Ryomen Sukuna. Sukna had just taken care of Satoru Gojo and Kashimo Hajime. Looking up at Itadori plummeting towards him the King Of Curses says the words “Brat, what can you even do”.
Fans were very hyped up about this big fight but instead, we got a small side battle in the next chapters. JJK Chapters 239-240 was a fight between Kenjaku and Takaba. While Sukuna continues to fight, Kenjaku keeps killing The Culling Games players. He will then in turn merge Tengen with the Japanese population.
Thankfully the color spread of the four strongest Satoru Gojo students gave us a look at Yuji Itadori’s new arm! The arm does look like Sukuna’s in some way which makes sense considering Gojo said that Yuji would be able to use the King’s curse techniques eventually. While the arm resembles Sukuna’s it is also slightly different. For starters, his left arm is completely red and also has a fin-like object sticking out of it. This is something Sukuna does not have. While we still have no idea what this could mean for our MC it looks like he is finally getting the power-up he deserves! We may be getting back to this main fight in Chapter 241, but who really knows when it comes to Gege. The Takaba vs Kenjaku fight seems to be over with Keny winning, now maybe his next fight will be with Yuta Okkotsu, The sorcerer at Jujutsu High who is only second to Satoru Gojo.
One thing is for certain though, and that is that Jujutsu Kaisen is about to go off once again. All of these fights in the manga while the anime is at the height of the Shibuya Incident is honestly just insane. So many things are about to happen. What will Yuji’s power be?
