Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is in full swing! We are four episodes in and we finally got to see an iconic fight get animated. There has been one major death already this season, and now JJK may have just left us with another one. In an epic battle, Satoru Gojo and Toji Fushiguro went head to head. With the hidden inventory arc now over we will dive into the Gojo past arc with the next episode being the one-part arc.
Hidden Inventory Arc
Hidden Inventory sees the end of high school life for Satoru Gojo as he ascends to the rank of the strongest sorcerer after defeating Toji Fuchiguro. Fushiguro was first seen in Episode one of season two. Nicknamed the sorcerer killer, Toji is contracted to kill Satoru Gojo. The father of Megumi and a non-sorcerer raised by the Zenin clan, Toji has a deep hatred for the sorcerer world. Toji, despite not having cursed energy, is still a very dangerous foe. After what Toji thought was a fatal blow to Gojo in episode three the assassin then takes care of Geto and the star plasma vessel. Episode four comes around and Gojo has seemingly come back from the dead. Using his reverse curse technique, Gojo was able to heal himself and come back even stronger. Finally reaching the full potential of his six eyes Gojo and Toji engage in round two.
In this breathtaking final battle, we see a new all-powerful Gojo. As Satoru unleashes his new Hallow Purple cure technique he is able to strike down Toji with one swift blow. Although Toji could get past Gojo’s limitless technique with brute force. The beautiful scene of Gojo combining his blue and red techniques to make purple was too much for Fushiguro. Toji was defeated and his final words to Gojo were him pleading for Staoru to save his son from the Zenin Clan.
Things Are About To Get Crazy
“In two or three years, my child will be sold to the Zenin Family. Do as you please.” We know that Gojo does in fact save Megumi from his fate and takes the young boy under his wing. More of that will be seen in the coming episodes. Toji Fushiguro dies knowing that his son will be saved as he spends his final moments thinking about his family. After episode five, Jujutsu Kaisen will be back in the present time. We will see Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara again. Things are about to heat up!
