Award-winning Hollywood actress Julia Roberts may be the next celebrity to step out of the limelight and leave the hustle and bustle of Hollywood behind her. Best known as America’s Sweetheart, new reports reveal that Julia is allegedly fed up with life in the limelight and could step away to live a more low-key and serene life away from the cameras.
Sources close to Julia Roberts reveal that the “Steel Magnolias” actress prefers to hole up in her $8.3 million townhome with husband Danny Moder. Per RadarOnline, inside sources state that Julia has been pushing Danny to consider moving there full-time.
Robert’s insider reveals that Julia loves living in San Francisco and never wants to leave the city. However, they add that Danny and Julia agree that they will hang onto two of their favorite family hangouts. They opted to keep their Malibu beach house and 32-acre ranch in Taos, New Mexico.
“Julia gets way more pleasure and stimulation when she’s at the ranch or puttering around San Francisco — which is still the No. 1 place she’d like to live if Danny ever agrees,” the tipster added, revealing that Moder, for his part, was torn but has been “coming around to that idea lately.”
Danny Moder and Julia Roberts Put Family First
Julia Roberts and Danny Moder first met in 2001 on the set of the film “The Mexican.” The pair tied the knot a year later on Independence Day. The couple recently celebrated their 21st anniversary.
Danny and Julia share three children: twins Phinnaeus and Hazel, 18, and son Henry, 16. According to reports, Julia and Danny prefer a simple and quiet family life with their three children.
These days, Julia Roberts seems more content spending quiet days and evenings with her husband and children. During a recent interview with ET, Roberts noted, “It’s just never consumed me, being an actor. It is my dream come true, but not my only dream come true. The life that I have built with my husband, the life that we’ve built with our children, that’s the best stuff. To come home at the end of the day, triumphantly to them.”

“This is more about doing what feels right for her state of mind,” said a source. “She’s got very little interest in Hollywood. To her, it’s all so fake. She’s excited about starting a new chapter.”
