Mama June Shannon Reveals Spending Over A Million Dollars On Drugs

Mama June Shannon is revealing some pretty personal details about her life. The “Mama June: Road To Recovery” star reveals she has spent around $1.5 million on drugs.

The Daily Mail reports that June has changed her ways and is now all about ‘staying present’ and rebuilding her relationships with her kids.

While promoting the new season of her reality series June opens up with TMZ about her prior drug addiction. Shannon has a difficult time opening up and admits that her drug use has caused many problems for her over the years.

Shannon, 41, admits that her drug use caused significant damage to her relationships with her daughters. It has been especially hard on her youngest daughter Alana ‘Honey BooBoo’ Thompson. 

‘In our whole addiction, I would say close to $1.5 [million dollars],’ the mother of four said on Friday.

‘Our habit in Georgia would be like, 24 [hundred dollars] to 3 grand,’ she added. June then states that in Los Angeles, her addiction cost ‘maybe double,’ estimating weekly use in the vicinity of $20K to $28K.

June Shannon Takes It Day-To-Day

As previously reported by Hollywood News Daily, in 2019, Shannon’s family reveals fearing for her life daily. The WEtv star also began selling off her possessions to support her and Geno’s habits.

June now wants to keep her focus on her day-to-day recovery and her family. She adds that it is somewhat tricky being with her family due to the pandemic. “With the covid virus [pandemic] hitting, it’s still been kind of hit and miss.”

June Shannon reveals at this time she remains sober vowing to stay that way for herself and her children. Hopefully, June will keep up the work and get her family life back on the right track once and for all.
