Britney revealed in her memoir “The Woman in Me,” that she and Justin found out she was pregnant when they were both around 19 and decided to have an abortion.

In the past, Timberlake has taken heat for his past behavior towards Spears. Now, he is under fire from critics again. Although Justin hasn’t responded directly to Britney’s memoir bombshell, he is said to be looking toward the future with his wife Jessica Biel and two children.
“Justin has been focusing on his own family and trying not to concern himself with Britney’s memoir,” a source told ET. “In recent years, Justin has tried to be supportive of Britney from a distance. They dated so long ago, but he still has respect for her. Justin and Jessica just want everyone to grow and evolve instead of continuing to bring up the past.”
Britney says that she wanted a family with Justin
The news of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake’s unplanned pregnancy was revealed on Tuesday. People Magazine shared an excerpt of the “Stronger” singer’s new book, which detailed her thoughts on the turbulent time in her life.
“It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” Spears wrote. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”
Timberlake offered support to Spears following her conservatorship battle
In the past, Justin Timberlake has apologized for his former behavior towards Britney Spears. In 2021 during Britney’s conservatorship battle, Justin spoke out about his ex-girlfriend. “After what we saw today, we should all be supporting Britney at this time. Regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter how long ago it was,” Timberlake wrote. “What’s happening to her is just not right. No woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body.”
