The Teen Mom 2 Reunion may be a complete bust this year. It appears that cast members Kailyn Lowry and Briana DeJesus have announced via Twitter that they will not be attending this year’s reunion at all.
Both reality stars announced on Saturday that they have decided not to attend according to their social media pages.
This has to be bad news for MTV producers who bank on the Teen Mom 2 reunion dramas bringing in huge ratings numbers. There have already been whispers among the popular reality fans that the reunion was going to be a complete snooze fest compared to last years.
As previously reported, Briana DeJesus revealed that during this year’s reunion things were going to be handled very differently. DeJesus stated that MTV producers had decided to film each Teen Mom separately. They would have different arrival schedules and filming days so that none of them would cross paths.
This was implemented to keep the cast members from having any opportunity to engage each other verbally, or physically on stage or off. Reality fans will remember that last years reunion was a major cluster of confusion between Briana and Kailyn.
The two faced each other off stage unsuccessfully in an attempt to talk out their differences. Total chaos began once the Teen Moms were seated on stage. Briana DeJesus was the last one to enter the stage and quickly began screaming and cursing Kailyn Lowry.
Bri rushed Kail and within a split second Bri’s sister jumped from her seat and things went from bad to worse. The moms had to be separated by security and Briana claims that what the fans did not know was that she was actually injured on the leg and now carries an ugly scar and reminder of the craziness.
Funny thing is Briana and Kail really do not carry much beef against each other this year, but Kail and Jenelle Evans have been feuding for several months.
Briana hit up Jenelle Evans Twitter page recently asking her to promise that she would be coming to this years reunion taping and Jenelle claimed she would be there.
However, at this time it is unclear as to whether any of the cast will be officially attending the Teen Mom 2 Reunion. Once again this could mean major ratings drops for MTV, and job security for the cast may be up in there air when it comes time to decide to renew the series, or, even their contracts.
