Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry reveals she has gotten herself into legal trouble and could serve jail time for taking her kids on vacation to Hawaii.
Kailyn Lowry, much like the rest of the Teen Mom reality television cast has had her share of troubles both personally and legally when it comes to their children.
According to Champion Daily Lowry shared a shocking piece of personal information on Thursday during her Coffee Convos podcast with co-host Lindsie Chrisley.
Kail reveals that she may have a serious legal problem on her hands after taking her three sons to Hawaii last month. Kail explains that according to her custody agreement with ex Jo Rivera she failed to follow custody agreement rules.
“We have to write a 30 days notice for vacation. First come, first serve,” explained Lowry of what is in writing between her and Rivera, adding by way of further detail:

“So if I put in my 30 days notice before he does or anyone, it’s mine.” Lowry went on to explain “Originally I was going to go to Hawaii July 5th to 20th, which is two weeks,” however she soon realized that the “first week of July was my week [with the kids], and Leah [Messer] was [also] going [to Hawaii] on the 1st.”
“So obviously [I] wanted to go and be with [her family] the first week…It was my week anyway, I changed the dates after I submitted my 30 days notice.”
Kailyn Lowry claims that she could serve jail time because she did not abide by the agreement. Kail admits she did not follow protocol where she and Rivera’s son Isacc is concerned.
If Rivera decides to press charges against Kailyn Lowry there is a chance a judge could order her to serve jail time.
“I made this decision [with] full awareness that I could potentially go to jail for 24 hours — and I think it’s worth it,” she added. Kail also added that she is not as strict as she could be also, and there have been a couple of times Jo did not follow the guidelines as well.
Looks as if there is a chance that Kailyn Lowry could find herself in court battle much like Teen Mom reality moms Jenelle Evans and Amber Portwood. Stay tuned…
