Kate Gosselin and her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, are reportedly gearing up for a very intense custody battle over their eight children, Maddy, Cara, Alexis, Hannah, Leah, Collin, Joel, and Aaden. The former spouses haven’t seen eye to eye about their children since splitting back in 2009, and things have been ugly between them ever since deciding to divorce.
According to a Nov. 5 report by Hollywood Life, Jon and Kate Gosselin are both currently preparing themselves for a crazy custody court case. Sources reveal that “Jon is doing everything he can to win their next cusoty battle. He’s totally overhauled his life again, he’s even back working a regular job again,” an insider told the site.
As many “Kate Plus 8” fans know, Kate Gosselin has had primary custody of their eight children for years, and Jon has struggled to pay his bills and child support. He’s even asked fans to help support his custody case in the past. Over the years, Jon has been open about his messy relationship with his ex-wife, and that Kate dictates when and which of the children he gets to see.

Earlier this year, Jon Gosselin’s mother told In Touch Weekly magazine that Kate Gosselin was turning the couple’s eight children against their father. Gosselin’s mother even claims that Kate makes her children chat things such as “We will not visit Jon!”
“I would never have believed that a scene could be so horrible until I witnessed the custody exchange myself. How can a judge allow physical force to remove a child?” Jon’s mother said. “Kate thinks there is nothing wrong with her, so she would never subject herself to going to therapy.”
Currently, “Kate Plus 8” airs on TLC, but even some of Kate’s most loyal fans have been questioning her parenting decisions as of late. During the summer of 2017, Kate Gosselin revealed that her son, Collin, was no longer living at home, and that he was attending a program that is set to help him with his special needs.
“Collin has special needs,” the Gosselin told People. “[There’s] a fairly fluid diagnosis of what those needs are, but he needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things. This has been a struggle we’ve had for a very long time, and it’s one I’ve dealt with on my own. I’ve felt very alone in this. By the same token, it’s not something that has only impacted me or him – our entire family has been impacted.”
