Star Magazine revealed that Katie and Jason have been hanging out, and getting close. “They’re having a great time together. She thinks he could be the one,” a source told the mag.
This could be a very bad idea. Not only do Katie Holmes and Jason Segel seem like total opposites this could reignite an old “Dawson’s Creek” feud!
“Dawson’s Creek” Déjà vu?
Why, because Jason recently had a very serious relationship with Katie’s former “Dawson’s Creek” co-star Michelle Williams. The two have had issues in the past, and sharing boyfriends would likely add to the tension. (Come on people, we want a “Dawson’s Creek” reunion!)
Now if only James Van Der Beek were the guy between the actresses we’d have ourselves a real “Dawson’s Creek” moment in the making.
However, the rumors of Katie Holmes and Jason Segel dating are “not true” according to Katie’s rep, who adds that “the two have not spoken since she appeared on ‘How I Met Your Mother.’”
