More Osbourne Family Troubles, Kelly Osbourne Admits To Relapsing

Kelly Osbourne reveals she has relapsed after 4-years of sobriety.

Kelly Osbourne has come forward, admitting suffering a relapse after four years of sobriety. Osbourne took to social media on Monday, revealing the sad news publicly.

According to In Touch Weekly reports it has taken a lot for Kelly to come forward and admit her relapse. Osbourne admits to relapsing to fans on her Instagram page.

“This is a little hard for me to talk about, but I’ve always promised you that I will always be honest with you about where I’m at and what’s going on in my road to recovery,” claims Kelly. “I relapsed. Not proud of it. But I am back on track” states Osbourne.

Kelly went on during the video to tell her followers that she is sober today, and plans to stay that way. “But I’ve learned it truly is just one day at a time. And I just want to tell you guys the truth because I never, ever want to lie to you. Thank you so much for your support and your love.”

Osbourne adds that she plans to get into a more detailed explanation in an upcoming podcast.

 Sobriety has been a tough road for Kelly Osbourne

The London native previously opened up about her decision to get sober in 2017 during an appearance on the British talk show Lorraine. “I am [in a great place]. Now I am almost two years sober, and it’s completely changed my life,” she divulged at the time. “I didn’t think I could do anything if I wasn’t drunk or high, because I was scared of everything. I let it get the better of me.”

Osbourne’s road to sobriety has been a long and hard one for the 36-year-old daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne and TV talk show host Sharon Osbourne.

Kelly has been in and out of rehab seven times. Osbourne also reveals in previous interviews that “Ten years ago, I didn’t think I’d be alive today.”

Osbourne family face their issues head-on

The past year has been extremely difficult for the Osbourne family. Kelly’s dad, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne has been battling major health issues from Parkinson’s Disease.

Sharon Osbourne, Kelly’s mom, has been facing a massive scandal that has set off a CBS investigation and allegations of racism. “I’ve been called so many things in my life — I am so used to being called names — but a racist is one I will not take,” Osbourne, 68, said Friday during an appearance on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher.

It has been a very trying time for the Osbourne family. Kelly Osbourne reveals she is are working through her issues very diligently and will soon be back on the right track.
