LeBron James is known for more than just his incredible play on the basketball court. While James is an NBA legend, first and most importantly, he is a husband and a father. LeBron has built a legacy around his family man brand. LBJ and his wife, and high school sweetheart, Savannah James, seemingly have a great marriage. They have built something truly special with their time together. However, according to rapper Kevin Gates, that may all be an act.
Hot New Hip Hop reports that in a seemingly unprovoked attack on LeBron James and his family, Kevin Gates took to social media to call out LeBron and Savannah. This led many social media users into shock as well as confusion. Gates has not been a relevant artist in years now, and this attack on the King’s family has not gone unanswered. Gates confirmed in his message that he would never want to trade places with Bron because of the way Savannah looks at him. This led to fans firing back at Gates. One social media user wrote, “You’re never supposed to speak on another man’s wife.” Many have taken the James family’s side in this little internet beef. However, there may be some who agree with everything Kevin said.

“I don’t like the way Savannah looks at LeBron,” he explained. Gates said that he does, however, like the way “white women look at him.” “You act like the warden of the jail, like you came here to police me. You not d****d out like these white women. I just couldn’t do it. It hurt me to see that,” he continued. “Man, you dive on the floor behind that n***a man.” Gates then quickly made it clear that he has a lot of respect and love for LeBron.
While James has seemingly made a comment about the situation, it appears that Savannah may have already taken action as well. The businesswoman and podcast host took to her Instagram story to seemingly show that she is unbothered by these harsh comments. Savannah James posted a clip of the famous rapper Nicki Minaj saying, “Um, chile anyways so.” Mrs. James then shared a post talking about how she does not care if everyone likes her. Savannah’s post also stated that her life will not change because a few people dislike her.
It is still unclear why Kevin Gates took such an insane shot at Savannah James. In her years of marriage to LeBron James, Savannah has proven to be a fantastic wife and mother as well as an accomplished businesswoman. Gates was most likely taking a shot in the dark to get people to talk about him once again. However, the James gang seems unbothered as LeBron is in playoff mode.
